Facebook opening new tabs

has anyone had this problem with facebook always opening a new tab every time so if i look on mutli yasks there is about 3 or4 facebbok tabs open and have to clear all tabs dont think it happened to my s21 ultra and think it only facebook so its says screen on time is all facebook

there is a big thing on reddit about it  but no one can find a fix

i have double checked there is only one facebook app on the phone

it also doesnt happen on my Tab s7+

i know delete facebook completly  job done lol

Did you ever get this figured out? Mine wasn't doing this until the last update my S22 had so it's been about a month or so. It's driving me crazy and running down my battery if I forget to close the tabs.

No mate it's still doing it and it's a pain on battery drain

Got it dude, I'm on android what I done was go to settings/apps/Facebook turn off window in window setting. It's supposed to let you watch a vd while still scrolling fb. I've turned it off and seems to be good to go.

Nice one ill give that a go iv been holding out for Facebook to sort it but never have but thanks again 👍

@BazzaTheRazzer  Mate you are a legend that sorted it out its been like that since i got the phone near 11 months ago wasnt a huge problem but it was doing my head in and if i watch a vid i open it anyway so turning it off is no isnt a problem

Yep I noticed on mine a couple of days ago it was doing it again least it worked for a bit
