Disappearing text messages

Hi all

Since the upgrade to UI7 I've been having issues with text messages. I'll have a conversation with somebody and when I go back to the conversation on a different day parts of the conversation have vanished. I've just had it happen again. Yesterday I messaged someone a date and time. They confirmed this and I replied to say I'd put it in my diary. Came to look today and the bit about putting it in my diary is no longer there!? Is this happening to anyone else?

How many messages do you have in total? Maybe it is reaching a limit and auto deleting

So I've just turned on the option to delete older messages in the settings. I'll see if that changes anything. However, I would have thought if I was at a limit it would be deleting my old messages? Plus, it's just random bits of conversations that are going missing, not the whole conversation. Thanks for your input

It may be due to the number of messages,possibility of a glirch though. Do you back up messages via Samsung Cloud?
