Disable fullscreen update nags for one ui updates

I keep getting full screen nags randomly to install one ui 7 and I don't wanna update coz I can't afford to get a new phone if it bricks it or causes green lines. 

I've heard many horror stories and I can't risk it and I need this phone for 2FA for critical stuff and I can't deal w green lines or display death. 

All I wanna do is get rid of the fullscreen nags....

I dont believe its possible to make that screen stop. Ive seen methods online which involves dodgy methods but thats a risk in itself

Tbh- IMO I dont see the fear. Yes, theres posts about it but you also have to remember Samsung have over a billion sales, and so- a very, very minority number of people will have any issues. If you base never updating due to issues existing youd never update your phone, pc, laptop, tv etc ever again- because with every update ever released youll find issues posted by users. On the same breath- this is your phone, so your choice and im not going to question what you do with your own things

To add, I vaguely remember the green line issue with the update on the s24 being caused by overheating.

So if you cool your phone down, then start the update, it might prevent the green line if it were going to happen

Make sure you have regular comprehensive backups and contingency plan ready if anything happens to the veteran phone. All of the above in the direct proportion to the phone importance

Just swipe the notications away as there is nothing else you can do. I think Samsung should offer to fix the issue as it's quite widespread caused by this software update, but Samsung would rather you to upgrade your device than carry out a repair.

I kept saying no to the update, never set a time for it to install itself and woke up one morning to it updating itself. Not happy with 7UI at all. Phone is barely useable now.
