Difference in quality, selfie camera and video selfie camera

Does anyone notice a huge quality difference between the selfie camera and the selfie video camera.  The video seems very soft looking and pixelated while the selfie camera is very sharp amd detailed.  I have turned off all beauty modes but why is the video so soft looking?

Even 3rd party apps, like Snapchat and Instagram have better video selfie quality. Can Samsung please fix this issue.

Hi have you checked none of the effects are on like the blur etc ?

Nope it's just 4k 30fps. No effects just the video camera

Don't use the selfie camera but tried it out to see if I could replicate this issue but mine seemed to look the same between video and photo, both clear and detailed...
