I recently purchased a 45W charger for my S22 Ultra and plugged it in but I'm only getting the 'super fast charging' rather than 'super fast charging 2.0'

Had a look through settings but couldn't see anything... Is there something I'm doing wrong?🤔

All this misinformation here...

Samsung 45W charging has been around since the Note 10+ and it requires their original charger. There are a few select 45W chargers from 3rd parties which also support Samsung, but much is trial and error. Also note that the cable does seem to affect super fast charging 2.0 on Samsungs too, so a top quality cable with rated support is required.

I have both the original Samsung 45W charger and a 3rd party one, both of which work perfectly at 45W on all my compatible Samsung devices (Note 10+ 5G, S20 Ultra 5G, Tab S7+, S22 Ultra and Tab S8 Ultra).

An FYI the S22 Ultra charges in under an hour from 0-100% with a 45W charger. Not tested on a 25W yet, but if its similar to the the S21 Ultra, it'll likely take 1h 20m~

It's not true that the old charger doesn't charge properly. I have monitoring and it shows up to 42W charge rate (of course at low battery).

There are testers testing old 45w charger with the S22 ultra...if your getting 45w charging will say super fast charging 2.0 ...not just super fast charging

The Neo Flex is the one that I currently installed on mine ! 😄
Compared to previous years, this time it doesn't have that orange peel effect. It's very smooth and glass-like.

Samsung doesn't support 28W charging speeds, it's either 25W or 45W, I don't know where you get your information from. I'll also say for a fact, if it is 28W, then it's super efficient since it charges the same 5000mah battery faster than the S20 Ultras which is 45W. Whatever the case, I don't think you have your facts straight.

Also I'm using it perfectly fine, not sure how I can get it wrong when I see super fast charging 2.0 every time I insert the cable...
