I have added loads of eSims. Unable to add an eSim to either of the S22 Ultras in the house. I think the latest software has a bug. Anyone else getting an issue? the provider refunded both eSims and advised the phones were the issue

Thanks all. Looks like Holafly have esim issues. I tried an alternative provider Nomad and they installed fine. All sorted.

"The provider advised that it was the phones"- of course they did, takes the blame off. Personally, I doubt it, especially both phones.

Any more context to the issue? What was happening?

Hi @Colshie The S22 Ultra certainly is compatible.  Generally adding esim via QR code is the best method, take it you have followed the procedure for methods as detailed here https://www.esim.net/helpdesk/knowledge-base/how-to-install-an-esim-on-an-android-phone/

If adding another esim and connection issue   I would try resetting the Network connections, General Management-Reset-Reset All Settings  and /or Reset your Router to see if that helps.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

As the S22ultra is a dual sim mobile which you can have two physical sim in together but if you want to use an esim as well you need to remove one physical sim in order to do so. You can't use three sim altogether.

Knew it. Providers will never own up to their issues, making customers faff about trying to figure out the "problem".

It depends on who your network provider is. I had issues with transferring my eSim to my new phones it turned out that with Three you had to go into the store and scan a code their reps gave you. Not all eSims are straightforward and can be done on your own (like EE).
