Samsung themselves have no issues with allowing cards into Samsung Pay.

It's possible that your Lloyds bank are not yet on board with letting Samsung Wallet / Pay work.
Have a word with them and or use a Google or Forum Search, or look at their support pages to check.
If you perform a forum search you may find existing threads with some further help or guidence within.
Chase Uk does apprear to allow Samsung Pay / Wallet looking at https://www.chase.com/digital/digital-payments/samsung-pay
Have a word with both banks Customer Support first to check they are allowing your account to recieve the set up requests from your phone.
At least in the interim you can jse Google Wallet which is my preference, as in my opinion this is a more seamless way of paying.

I got the samsung S24. My old phone worked fine. My Samsung pay card and my bank card were linked and it all worked. Now I had the option to 'activate' both cards. I tried to do this multiple times and nothing worked. It kept making me open curve then nothing would happen. My bank card was still on curve showing last transactions I have made but I now cant use it. My samung pay card is no longer there and I cant add it as the card doesn't have a card number. tried to re add my bank card instead of activating it and it says this card doesn't work with samsung wallet, pay etc. Even though it obviously does. Deleted cache and data from the wallet and started again with no joy. I dont understand how my Samsung pay card I ahve cant be added to my wallet. I dont understand how a card that is showing in my curve app now says these dont work even though there is a tic against the card and the details when I load the app. I dont understand why I had to activate both cards just because i switched phone when all information transferred over, and neither lets me. It also says open curve and select ad card, I open curve and that option isn't even anywhere to be seen. Its actually a joke. i have no way of using my phone to pay now when it was fine before
