I can't convert any of the hdr videos to sdr. Every time I try I receive the error export failed. I can't share either.

I don't know what was causing the issue but updating to the latest software fixed the problem.

@devoker: For clarity, are you attempting to convert the videos using the editing tool in the Gallery app (Gallery app > Select a video > Tap the pencil symbol at the bottom of the screen)? If so, have you tried tapping the 3 dots in the top right > Save as copy to see if this resolves the issue?
Are you attempting to share the videos to a certain app, or are you using the Share feature on the video file itself?

When I try to Save as copy (gallery app->editor) it fails and says export failed. Also in editor (gallery app) I cannot play the video it keeps saying corrupt or not supported even though I use the original camera app to record the videos. I tried to use many different new videos but everytime the same thing happens
I also receive the following notification.

That's very unusual indeed, @devoker. Does this happen irrespective of the video length (e.g. whether the video is 30 seconds or less, as opposed to being over 30 seconds)? Furthermore, how long have you been experiencing this issue?
I notice in the screenshot you provided that there is a prompt to close any other media apps before trying to export the video file. Have you tried doing this?
I'm sure you'll be able to get this resolved, so I'm just exploring some possibilities at the moment.

It is giving this error for all the hdr videos, even the ones I was able convert during instagram sharing more than a month ago. I think it all started a month ago when I tried to send some hdr videos with whatsapp, it failed to send those saying restart phone. Since then I wasn't able to convert anything. It says close any other media apps but there is not any open. I specifically closed all other apps every time.
I tried using another video editing software and I managed to convert but somehow samsungs video editor is not working. Cleared all data and cache for gallery and video editor. It didn't work either. Uninstalled instagram and whatsapp, didn't work either. Is there any way to uninstall and reinstall samsung video editor app without rooting? I don't want to factory reset the phone.
