Camera failed samsung s22

Hello, I've a samsung s22 and I can't use the back camera anymore. It says "warning camera failed". The selfie one does work. I already cleared the partition cache and factory reset it. Does anyone have the same issue and maybe fixed it ? Thanks.

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!

One of your recently downloaded apps was likely the cause of the problem. Proceed to uninstall the app. After uninstalling the app, restart your phone and check if it is functioning normally. Go to Settings > Apps > click to arrange by download date. The best way to check this is to boot into Safe Mode and see if the problem still occurs.

May be worth going to the Samsung Members app > Diagnostics.

Hello @Taktic77 

Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum. 

Try clearing the cache of the camera app itself by long holding down the app and tap on i and then storage and clear cache. 

There is a diagnostic tool found in the Samsung Members App to see if that highlights anything. 

And there is Safe Mode too.

it doesn't work in safe mode, and I just reset the phone so there is no app installed by my own !

I already tried to clear the cache of the app and it doesn't work in safe mode too 😞

update: The camera work in the Samsung members app diagnostic so it's not a hardware problem.

I have the same issue with my s22 so if nothing works what can I do to get both cameras working

Hi @Taktic77 and @hotpot. I'm sorry to see you're having this issue with your phone's camera. If you have tried all of the helpful steps in this thread, but are still experiencing the problem, then I would recommend sending us an Error report.  

This will enable our software engineers to receive data logs relating to the problem so they can investigate it further. This data is anonymised and only held for the duration of the investigation of the report.
