Hi,
I have had this phone now for around a month (S22 ultra EU exynos) and this is the 4th or 5th time that has happened to me. I receive a call, I hear the ringtone, I answer the phone but I hear nothing. I try to hang up the person and call myself and hear nothing.????? Only way to solve the problem is restart the phone, like I'm on a windows 98 computer....
This is besides the other problem I have with phone refusing to unlock once a day, I am really getting tired of all this annoying bugs.
Why would a 1400$ phone not be able to receive calls? Has anyone else had similar problems or it's only my unit that is faulty?

Installed the December update and the problem is still here. Don't trust who wrote that the latest update would have fixed the issue, simply go to a Samsung repair center and ask for a replacement. Next week I will format my S21 and I will do it.

Wait until the december 2023 update - it will fix it. 🤣

I have installed an update via Smart Switch on the PC. Since then I didn't had this issue again. Two days ago I have installed december update OTA too.
But I'm not sure if the Smart Switch update really fixed it. There was not enough time to be sure.
I could imagine the Smart Switch update (>7 GB) did something which isn't done by the default OTA update.

I can't find any update in Smart Switch. I hope you solved the problem, I thought I fixed it too, having not had the issue for over a week after the OTA update, but yesterday I had it again.

Hello everyone, I have a question: do you use a Garmin smartwatch maybe? Or a pretty old bluetooth headset (I have a Plantronics M25)? I didn't have the issue for months and, after reassociating the bluetooth headset, I'm experiencing it again. I then disassociated it and cleared the bluetooth devices data, but I still have the issue.

Status: Actually since the update via Smart Switch still didn't have the issue again.
I don't use any Smart Watch or Headset. But I always automatically connect my phone to my car.
The brave people could try manual flashing the full firmware package like: https://samfrew.com/de/download/Galaxy__S22__/5l4v/EUX/S901BXXU2BVL1/S901BOXM2BVL1/
I assume there might be a modem update, which is not included in OTA updates. This might be the cause why updating via Smart Switch makes a difference.
But this only for now. Will see, if it stays solved for me.

I've just realized that I can't find your Smart Switch update because I own a S21, not a S22 :')

Over a month has passed since I have updated via Smart Switch and the problem has not recurred.
