Hi,
I have had this phone now for around a month (S22 ultra EU exynos) and this is the 4th or 5th time that has happened to me. I receive a call, I hear the ringtone, I answer the phone but I hear nothing. I try to hang up the person and call myself and hear nothing.????? Only way to solve the problem is restart the phone, like I'm on a windows 98 computer....
This is besides the other problem I have with phone refusing to unlock once a day, I am really getting tired of all this annoying bugs.
Why would a 1400$ phone not be able to receive calls? Has anyone else had similar problems or it's only my unit that is faulty?

I installed Google Phone App now too. But even if this helps, it'll be a shame on Samsung to not getting this fixed. after months.

Hello everyone! There is a new update for S22 this month. I saw someone of the Samsung support telling that it will resolve the issue...
So let's see..

Hi @Ozimozi29 . Have read the thread. Unfortunately no upcoming solution. They talk about the October patch that didn't help.
Try to disable the Google Carrier Services-App on your Phone. That could (!) be the solution. Please report if it works fine.

Same problem here. European Galaxy S22 SM-S901B/DS. October patch applied. Every now and then the microphone stops working, both for regular calls and Whatsapp calls. Works after a reboot.
Veeery annoying.

Just had a live chat session with german support. Agent adviced me to run the phone in safe mode. If problem still appears, I should factory reset the phone.
So it's a default answer without knowing how to fix that specific problem. As the problem exists since I bought the phone, I don't expect it will help.
