Call problem

My phone will not ring only 1 specific number in my phone book.

That person can ring and text me but I can only text them.

When I do dial, it just cuts out, no voicemail no ringing no nothing.

You got a +44 or a 0 in front of the number?

No nothing in front of it, it's a contact I ring daily and the same number has been stored in my phone for at least 3 years.
Then from yesterday morning it just won't ring that particular number

Does anyone know if Giffgaff is having trouble ring 02 numbers, maybe tgis could be the problem I'm having

I'd speak to them and ask. It may well be an issue at their end.

@Magicball66: While this might be difficult to verify, you should also check to see if the contact is currently in a low signal area, or if they have accidentally blocked you on their phone. The latter is less likely if you're still able to text them, but it is worth exploring as a possibility. If they are currently abroad, then it may not be possible to reach them due to restrictions on your mobile contract, such as a spend cap.

Yes we have done all those checks, I wasn't sure if I had been mistakingly blocked but I haven't, I have checked if either phone is on DND they aren't.
The contact is very much in the uk and is in the same signal area as when I always ring them.
It has really stumped me as to what the problem could be.
I can ring anyone bar this contact, but this contact can ring me and we can both text each other.
