Does any one who owns an S22ultra ever noticed that when ever there phone heats up through heavy use, then use the S-pen it smells like burnt plastic? And it still continues to smell like burnt plastic continually even when the phone is cool to the touch?

I don't own the s22 ultra. When I had the note 20 ultra, I read a post on reddit about someone asking if there s pen had a burning smell. Not one to have ever smelt my s pen before. After reading the post I did have a sniff 🤣. Turns out it is normal for the s pen to have that smell. The post got others sniffing the s pen also.

Ahhh okay, this was the first time I smelt the S-pen 🤣 since the phone has a bigger battery and the body of the phone hasn't really gained in any significant size lol

Hi @hash1981

The Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra is my daily driver and I can say I've never experienced the issue your explaining in your post.

I would suggest to seek support from a Samsung Service Centre.

I wish you all the best.  :smiling-face:

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
