Just dropped into my local samsung store in glasgow, after telling them after ui 6.1 update the phone overheats top right corner, signal drops completely and that's with bluetooth, wifi and roaming data all turned off the phone then goes into a restarting loop, it used to last around 15 minutes but now it can take hours and I said the update has caused the motherboard failure, he turned round and said you can't be certain as we haven't had anyone else in with this problem but we charge £30 to diagnose and if it is the motherboard and your out of warranty it's around £600, woman next to me was talking to another member of staff turned around and said nobody else has been in and reported this?? I'm here for the same thing on my s23. Samsung should be taking responsibility and repairing these "flagship" bricks free of charge, your customers never broke the phones YOUR updates did! As for me as a samsung customer for 20 odd years I'm never buying a samsung device again and I'm waiting on my new iPhone being delivered, I really hope anyone experiencing this problem gets handsets repaired for free if samsung take ownership, but I doubt it

Totally missing the point, the s22 was a lot of money for it to last 2 years, the customer shouldn't be left with a large bill due to a samsung pushed update, the fact they remain silent tells you all you need to know about them, here's hoping your phone don't go the same way otherwise it'll be tough luck too 👍

Likewise, hopefully your new phone lasts way past warranty

Great post .... im with you after 25+ years with Samsung. I'm switching and had so many messages from other users on different platforms asking if I found a solution. Well, the answer is no, really is time to switch! I've noticed my phone reboots every night now, which is worrying as I have people who rely on me, and when the phone reboots, you have to unlock it so it starts up and to receive calls.

No, it's not on auto reboot at night.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

SHAME on Samsung

I got my iPhone all set up but I've left the Samsung switched on, someone commented below saying switch on power saving mode, the Samsung has only bootlooped once in two days, so wipe the cache and try it on power saving see how you get on 👍
