Battery performance on S22 Ultra is really bad. I've been using it for over 10 days now and it is not improving in any way even after installing the latest update by Samsung.
Surprisingly, it ends up using 10-15% battery on standby throughout the night which is not at all impressive from a phone that costs 1249 GBP (256GB variant).
Maximum screen on time I managed to get is under 6 hours that too when kept at standard refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, disabled 5G, reduced animations, no games or heavy apps and mostly web surfing, spotify and youtube.
Additionally, it lags every now and then even during basic tasks, heats up frequently and screen turns off automatically while using.
I tried contacting Samsung support on phone (didn't get through to an agent even after waiting for 10 minutes and repeatedly listening to the automated voices), by chat twice (first time was transferred to the technical team and saw a waiting time of over 17 hours for an agent to join so hung up, again today - explained my situation to the agent and was told that will have to wait for 7-10 days if I go for a replacement after shipping back my current phone - can't stay for that long without a phone at all as I traded in my previous phone and shipped it already to samsung. Was later routed to the technical team and simply saw a message saying there are no available agents, try back later.)
Not sure why the customer has to suffer after paying a premium price and getting a faulty device which wasn't even tested thoroughly before the launch.
