Hi Everyone
Around a Year ago i changed my old Samsung A50 to S22+ and was expecting much better performance than on the old one. While almost every feature works much smoother, faster and overall better then on A50 I noticed that battery life has decreased significantly. I was hoping that with time my S22 will get better but it didn't. Any tips on prolonging it's battery life?
Best

Hello @Anonymous User
I would suggest to take a look in your Device Care Section under Battery to see what's using your battery and either adjust your preference settings of any apps using significant battery , and or move them to sleep or deep sleep Section.
Apps are sometimes used in the background which can sometimes be adjusted along with location hungry apps.
Vampire apps such as Facebook etc can be looked at.
Turn off nearby scanning.
Turn off 5G in Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Change mode to 4g/ lte.
Use dark mode.
Turn off auto screen brightness.
There are more battery saving tips via a forum search.
I personally do not Turn features and functions off that bring real user experience to the phone to save a bit of battery battery.
I Turn off the battery % sign off in the top status bar so my 👀 are nkt drawn to it and enjoy my usage and top up when needed.
If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care. 😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

I wish they would consider recalling this model because the battery swelled in less than a year and it runs really hot everyday. Since I got it during the pandemic I didn't have much choice during shortages. Now I left the back cover off. I have 7 other Samsung phones and this is the worst experience.

Hey there, @Usyagi. Battery swelling is something we take very seriously, and we'd like to pass this on to our Product Liaison Team if you're in the UK. If you're not in the UK we'd advise you to report it to one of our teams in your region.
Can you send a Private Message with your contact details and any relevant info (e.g. reference number, product model code and serial number if you have them) to our @Sam_UK account (https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/1716597) Guide on how to send a Private/Direct Message here if you need it: https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/samsung-lounge/how-to-send-a-private-message-on-the-samsung-comm...
