Battery drain and apps not working as they should on new update

Is there a way of deleting the latest updates.

I have the s22ultra 

The battery is now draining very fast, its getting hot, and apps like gmail are not working properly 😑 

So f#cking frustrating

This is a well-known issue with all "U" devices. A large update of about 1.2GB was released in Europe, but it still hasn’t resolved the problem. I personally have seen complaints from several countries, particularly about the "U" models.

Welcome to the community forum.

If you are referring at the One UI 7 update, the short answer is no. Some apps might allow you to uninstall updates, but it will go back to the original version not the previous update. 

Battery performance seems to degrade after a big update, but usually it will settle down soon after. Apps will also need updating, please check all apps are updated on the Samsung and Google stores.

A good shout is to clear cache partition, as recommended by @Tourbillon De La Vie
