Apps no longer working after recent update?

Hi all, two apps I use often - o2 Priority and Grindr - are no longer working after the most recent update on my device.

o2 Priority closes itself as soon as it's open - Grindr will crash after I have entered by email and password.

I have tried restarting my phone, un and reinstalling the apps, clearing the cache's on each app and had no luck.

I wondered if anyone else has had a similar problem since the update, or have experienced something similar after a software update and found a way to fix?

Not going to factory my phone just because a developer cant get their app to work

For Grindr: I tried the solutions proposed here and elsewhere, like clearing the Grindr cache, reinstalling the app, restarting, trying to use it on mobile data only, all to no avail.

Then I uninstalled my secure folder, and that did the trick. Not too familiar with secure folder, maybe one can disable it temporarily, saving complete removal, but that's all beyond me.

Yes 2 of my most important apps are now incompatible. I paid for the apps with hard earned money since this app update has destroyed my faith in Samsung and I am thinking what gives Samsung the right to aggressively update the so-called best ui without the option to revert back to the older version SHAME ON YOU SAMSUNG I will no longer purchase any more Samsung products
