Why does adaptive refresh rate even exist if jt cant work under minimum brightness settings ( s21 and s22 ultra user here). I though they had fixed it for the s22 ultra but no, if brightness is ever set below roughly 15% brightness the refresh rate is stuck on 120hz and it will never change, even while watching 30fps content.

The aod is now sticking at 120Hz not 60Hz. Shameful Samsung, this really  is a poor bug ridden device.

The lies Samsung have said about this product, the recent update because they have been proved to be throttling performance, disgusting. So many bug's, this Exynos variant was not fit for release, the rumours that they had shelved it may have had some truth, but eventually once they had the interest and our money they made us suffer this shameful product. I have had many Samsung products some good some awful but this S22 Ultra Exynos is probably the worse considering the huge cost. I will be selling this troubled mobile very soon.

Same problem here with my S22 Ultra. Extra dim doesn't work for me. Oddly enough, on my Tab S7 adaptive refresh works perfectly under low light conditions.

Go to settings->search extra dim->open extra dim change intensity to maximum... then exit. Then change display brightness above 20% now check fps.. or use galaxy max hz app..
