Why does adaptive refresh rate even exist if jt cant work under minimum brightness settings ( s21 and s22 ultra user here). I though they had fixed it for the s22 ultra but no, if brightness is ever set below roughly 15% brightness the refresh rate is stuck on 120hz and it will never change, even while watching 30fps content.

Also shouldn't this screen lower to 1hz? According to my tests when the screen as good brightness it lowers to 24hz and no less than thatScreenshot_20220223-073722_Settings.jpg

Thanks for this, I was wondering why when I'm in bed scrolling around apps and brightness is all the way down it would charge so much slower and run a little warm. Adaptive refresh rate indeed wasn't working. Would notice it would stay at 120 instead of scaling down. This helped my problem but sucks that it doesn't work at lowest brightness.

Hi just received the eu exynos s22 ultra. Twitter frames are janky. Didn't have this problem with the s21 ultra. Other people have the same issue?

Yes exactly its like the frames drop and it lags. It was fine on my s21 ultra, is this supposed to be fixed by twitter or what exactly? Any timeline. Thanks

It seems this adaptive screen refresh rate simply does not work correctly  on the exynos version of this mobile. Low dimming of the screen stops it working at all constant 120Hz and no matter what the screen dimming is on the "always on display" will ALWAYS be at 60Hz. This exynos version of the Ultra is bug ridden and shame on Samsung for forcing this on the European market.
