I preordered my S21 ultra, I received it yesterday and so far has been amazing. I'll be honest I'm still very annoyed about the whole SD card, or shall I say no SD card situation.
What are your thoughts so far? I think it's too early for me to store everything on the cloud without saving a copy locally.

I store everything on the cloud plus I can out so card into my tablet so if I need anything, I can get it from there and download it onto cloud.

I'm honestly not to fussed about no SD card to be honest, I've never used above 128GB on any phone I've ever owned, and I do quite a bit of photography and videography on my phone but I can see why people would be annoyed about it being removed as it was a staple feature of Samsung for so many years.

Well personally I've not used an SD Card since having a Note 8. Had a Note 9, currently on an S20 Ultra and S21 Ultra coming possibly tomorrow. I generally connect my phone to my PC once or twice a month to copy photos over plus there's Google Photos backup. Not sure whether I'll miss the option of having a slot just in case. Time will tell.

That's an interesting point. whilst you may not have needed in the past, with the advanced features such as 8K video recording and more pixel for pictures, yiur pictures and videos will be much larger. From a quick Google search, 8k videos comes at a high storage cost: 600MB for every minute! it would be a shame not to take advantage of the extra camera feature due to lack of storage. I'd suggest backing your pictures and video online and saving a copy in your pc every now and again. enjoy the new phone

thank you 😊 I think I'll have to start doing something similar. As always, I'd rather have the SD card option and not use it rather than not having the option and possibly needing it.

For me this is a dealbreaker. I want to double secure my pics and videos. Without sd card it becomes impossible. How should I choose which one of my pics or videos are not worth saving? I take lots of videos and they are the reason why I have purchased a phone with a quality camera. I'm really considering another phone. S20 Ultra was also such a disappointment camerawise.
