Sleep mode keeps activating alarm no matter what

Sleep mode keeps activating the alarm no matter what I do. I have gone into the settings and dug down to turn it off and saved it but it reactivates next time. I deleted the current sleep mode then rebooted the phone and recreated it turning off the alarm but it still insists on turning it back on. I've stopped the app cleared the cache pretty much everything I could think of and it persists.

I've finally deleted sleep mode completely and just use the do not disturb under notifications and it's no problem. If you have other options you want to change during do not disturb most can be written into a routine that runs at a specified time period you can set parallel to sleep mode. Sure it's a pain but less painful than the bug that keeps arming the alarm.

Samsung you need to fix this.

So there are a couple work arounds for the problem depending on your phone model but the actual problem still isn't fixed....

WHERE IS SAMSUNG? This is broken!

@VinMar, did you try the solution proposed by @Hetrab ?

" The time at the top is the watch and alarm and the time period in "condition" is just the time period.

Doing this makes it possible to use the sleep routine (without the alarm) and keep the sync capability with the watch - in my case, it is very important because I use "always on display" and it must be trigged of at sleeping time."

I think it is not a workaround but it is indeed the correct way to use the sleeping feature on the cellphone.

* in my case the alarm problem was gone... .vanished!

I have a S20+ and it doesn't have the Time Period section at the bottom.

It only has the "Sleep Schedule" and "Detected activity" sections.

Still the easiest solution and works perfectly

You don't need to give step by step instructions but a link to post you are talking about helps.

Yes but on my S21 Ultra I don't get that screen and option, tried it several times in case I was doing something wrong. I think there was someone else that couldn't get that screen either. I'm on build G998U1UES5DWA2 dated 01-24-2023 which is when this all started for me.

Hi @VinMar, and @jmerrild,

Hi all,

I don't think we'd get anywhere in the world without a difference in an opinion, but there are much better ways to express this than with hateful words or insults! I've edited your posts for you to make sure they're keeping up with our family-friendly forum reputation, and wanted to drop in to remind you to be civil when posting on our forum. Have a great day guys!

I have an S22 ultra. Its so horrible to be suddenly jerked awake on a weekend. Samsung you need to fix this urgently.... In the meantime I'm trying Hetrab's solution and praying I don't get woken up tomorrow 🙏

The alarm issue is fixed for me now but I have a new issue with it. When my phone comes out of sleep mode it turns my phone on vibrate and the ring volume down to one for some some reason. That wasn't the volume before it went to sleep mode so not sure why it's doing it. Anyone else?
