Screen shot error

Everytime I go to take a screenshot on my galaxy s21 if I try to crop the picture or save the picture it comes up saying ... Cannot edit file it is not supported by screen write

Did you try to crop the picture straight
After taking it before you've viewed it from the gallery? That may be why

I can crop it afterwards if i go into gallery but i used to about to crop it straight away from the screenshot menu

Did you find a solution? Mine just started this after an update on March 5th

I restarted my phone for today (for the second time). It restarted differently displaying "One UI" instead of how it usually restarts. Now I am able to immediately edit screenshots again. The toolbar is back! No more annoying "Unable to open

Tap SETTINGS.
go to App info>
Permissions, then
allow the following
permissions and
try again:
Files and media"

I dont have to leave the screen capture to gallery in order to edit. It is fixed.

I have this same issue.  Still looking for the solution. Thank you  @Candyreign2 but that solution is not for this particular issue. 🙏🏽

I have the same issue, very annoying. This has always worked on my android phones in the past
