Hi, hope someone can help
I recently purchased the S21 Ultra and it will not connect to 5G network.
I have received a new SIM from my provider.
I have reset the phone and also the Network settings.
I have installed Cellmapper to check network
Also installed Samsung band Selection
Nothing shows NR exists even though I am in a good 5G area.
Also saw something about unlocked Samsung phones don't have Network management for carriers like the carrier branded phones, if this is true then will have to look at returning this mobile.
Could someone advise?

So been on the phone with Virgin which seemed like for hours and they couldn't find an issue with the SIM and they believe it should be working but to no avail

Oh dear. Well looks like Virgin's website which shows my area to have good indoor and outdoor 5G signal is bogus.
Managed to find a mast fairly close by and picked up 5G with speeds of 125Mb download and 57Mb upload.
Hence there is no issue with the phone itself or the SIM card.
Oh well time will tell if they will continue to implement more masts
