Poor Quality Camera On s21 Ultra

Does anyone else have pretty poor pics from the s21 Ultra? Pictures lack detail and just look bad, almost like a 4 year old phone. Really disappointed.

I tried this and in indoor lighting my cat just comes out pixilated you cannot see any definition. Such a shame I expected more from this handset. My old Huawei performs far better.

Only reasonable shots I am getting are the close up portrait, anything else and whole image becomes very noisey. Had the Samsung s9 a3 from 2 years back, the entry level one and that seems better at general detail in standard pics

I have the s21 ultra. The pics it takes are rubbish. Any type of in camera enhancement just make them worse. My gf has iphone 12 and its pics are leaps and bounds better. Im really not satisfied with it at all as a camera....which is why I initially bought it. As soon as I can get clear of it, I will.

When taking pictures in low light like restaurant or dim rooms the photos are terrible for the price!! My Huawei mate 20 Pro takes better pictures for 3 years ago! I would of thought that these software updates would have improved it but nope

Yes , same in my case. I bought S21 ultra exynos version here in Australia. With all the reviews going on with the best camera phone of 2021, I opted for s21 ultra instead of iPhone. However, portrait mode in this is literally *****.  I compared it to the shots from iphone xs max bought 3 years ago, it is not even half as good as the shot from iphone xs max

I have an S21 Ultra and taking images of anything that moves even slightly ruins the picture, like where is the sports mode or whatever, it's needed, subject has to be still or it's just trash and the recent update did nothing. Its making me regret choosing this phone. I miss my S10+ haha.

Lucky me I have returned the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. Bad in all ways.

Oh man I thought I was going crazy over here. The S21 Ultra camera sensors are utter garbage. I can't wait to get rid of it. My Huawei P20 PRO from 2018 was taking excellent photos compared to this marketing stunt of a phone. At least that one had a 1/1. 73 inch sensor which had low noise AND RAW file support. Take a look at the raw image from the S21 Ultra in low light. It's a blue mess, 80 percent of the photo is destroyed from the start because of the sensor not because of the Exynoss processing algorithm. That's why there is so much smudging going around. The sensor is a noisy mess... It takes a lot of noise reduction to hide it. It's my second Samsung Phone and the LAST one.

the camera, battery, signal level all this are worst than my p30pro which i am still using after s21u has been sent back to the shop. The another annoying misunderstanding is that s2qu was crazy hot during normal usage.. crazy
