Manual Focus is normal photo mode?

Is there any ways to use MF in the ''normal'' photo mode? 

I want to take photos of the moon when it's right above the city , it gets red because of pollution I guess, though I couldn't get a good focus using AF while I can when the moon is pretty high and white. That's why it would be a great idea to have MF in jpeg automatic photo mode.

In Pro mode unfortunately the Zoom cameras are not used  at all
