Take a look in settings, location, improve accuracy, consider toggling Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Scanning On.
In the same area turn on Google Location Accuracy.
Also check nothing relevant has been placed in your sleep or deep sleep apps feature.
Look in your Google maps app to check any relevant settings.
