*Bluetooth

This is the only option that worked for me.

Here is a solution.
Go to Settings, select Developer options, Bluetooth PBAP, Bluetooth PBAP version, PBAP 1.1, then Apply. Then put back PBAP 1.2 and Apply.

Instructions to enable Developer option

1 Go to "Settings"

2 Tap "About device" or "About phone"

3 Tap “Software information”

4 Tap “Build number” seven times. ...

  1. 5 Enter your pattern, PIN or password to enable the Developer options menu.

6 The "Developer options" menu will now appear in your Settings menu.

Hi, I had the same problem - not all contacts was loaded to the car. I have spent a lot of time to fix it. Please check the type of number in the not loaded contacts and compare it with any loaded contacts. To do this you have to edit the contact on your phone. During the years I changed my phone many times and I have always made backups of data. Some old phones had different contact types. They don't fit to the some current external devices.

Had the same problem on an older car that would download the S21 phone book with Android 14 but would not recognize any of the names.

I tried switching the Bluetooth PBAP as indicated earlier in this post with no success.

What finally fixed the issue was to go to Settings/Connections/Bluetooth then select setting symbol next to the "car Bluetooth name"  and switch ON the "Contact access".

Hope this helps.
