Hi! I bought a refurbished S20. I am based in Sweden and I believe the S20 in this region that the phone should be able to handle eSims. However, I have no option to add an eSim and I believe this may be because the phone is originally from South Africa, as indicated by the CSC.
Is there any way I can modify this phone to allow an eSim?

@Members_n23PLfS: If the S20 was intended for use outside your current region, then this is likely to be why you are unable to activate an eSIM, due to software and hardware variances, as well as network region locks. Have you been able to register a physical SIM card in the device?

Yes, a physical sim has worked fine. I wanted to use an eSim in addition because I need two sims. In fact I have now met my immediate needs by using two physical sims. But it is annoying to not be able to use an eSim when this is supposed to be possible in the phone in my region. I bought the phone from a large well-known refurbishing company. I wonder what options I might have for getting the phone to work with an eSim?
