@ikironking: Samsung provides 4 years of OS upgrades, and as the Galaxy S20 launched with Android 10, then Android 14 will be final update for this model. Don't worry, though, as you will continue to receive security updates for the next few years.

Will be interesting to see, given Google offering 7 years on Pixel 8 series, where Samsung will go next with this.

So many devices have 2 years and then the user upgrades. Will we see users keeping devices longer?

But I searched on Google and it said because s20 was launched a couple months before they started 4 years os updates s20 would not get it

Ngl I want to upgrade to s24 series mid 2024 cuz I've had thus phone for 3 years but I still want one ui 6 it just good

It highly unlikely as well simply because u should not use a phone for 7 years the battery would suck a d it will be weak if samdung provided 7 years of software updates the s7 from 2016 would be getting android 14
