Notification message

Any time i get a message on the bottom of the screen it stays for 45 seconds to a minute. It doesn't stop me from doing anything just annoying. How do I shorten the time it is up?

Definitive solution:

Accessibility/About Accessibility/(!) in the top right corner/disable appears over the others.
...And these notifications are over

Old post but thank you so much. I'm use to iOS and 'default' is usually the lowest number (10 seconds) which is way too long. I selected default and it now only lasts 2-3 seconds which is perfect.
