Had this message pop up when I opened Facebook, it isn't a text message like you would normally get

Yeah steven220916 I feel AndrewL was bang on the button and this is nothing more than a cheap phishing scam.. Contacting your bank will confirm this for certain. You did the right thing by airing this issue on this community as there are some good friendly knowledgeable people on here as I have found myself. My Wife and I have been receiving one scam text after another recently and I just want to recommend to everyone out there to be extra vigilant at the moment. These scammers seem to be stepping up their lowlife game. 👍

DO NOT, EVER, CALL YOUR BANK FROM THE DEVICE ON WHICH YOU GOT THIS MESSAGE!! USE ANOTHER, SEPERATE NUMBER, SUCH AS YOUR LANDLINE!!

Looks like a Flash SMS... when a SMS message just pops up.

that is nice, not only a web link but also a phone number,
if i were you, i would google for pages where you can put that info, and some vicious ppl will DDOS the server the page is at, and spam the phone number with calls coming from a server , just pure win 👍
