S10 plus camera is not as good and missing features

My s10 plus when compared to my friends s10 plus revealed that it did not have the scene optimiser button although it was in settings and images came out a lot more white than they should be .

Any ideas?

Make sure your apps are updated, there are guides on how to do this stuck to every device section in members app

I've done it everything is fully updated but it's still not fixed😕

Then maybe your friend is using an older version?

Why would the camera be better on an older version🤷

@sotow: Can you double check that Scene Optimiser is enabled by opening the Camera app > Tap the cog symbol > Scene Optimiser, and make sure the switch is toggled to the right? Regarding the resulting image quality, are you using the standard Photo mode, or are you using Pro Mode? If it's the latter, check your Shutter Speed, White Balance and Exposure to see if this helps.

I am using normal photo mode

Because of regression, sometimes that happens. Anyway AndrewL is better placed to advise you forward with this so hopefully between the two of you it will be resolved
