@AJ2503: If you have been to Settings > Apps > Clock > Notifications > Show Notifications > On, and toggled on 'Upcoming Alarms', then you should be notified 5 minutes before the alarm sounds with a clock symbol in the Status Bar, and a notification when you swipe down from the top of the screen. If not, head back to the Clock notification settings, and toggle the Upcoming Alarms option off, then on again to see if this helps.
