How to turn off Samsung keyboard? (Note 10+)

How can I turn off the Samsung keyboard? I'm using Gboard as the default keyboard and I turn Samsung keyboard off but it's grayed out in the managing keyboard setting.

Your Samsung keyboard would remain on as far as I'm aware because the gboard keyboard overlays onto it.

Hello

You can use Gboard over Samsung default keyboard

Just download the GBOARD app from the Google play store and install and run it

Follow the instructions and there is an option where you can choose your default keyboard

Select Gboard there.

Under "default keyboard", the Samsung keyboard shows up. When I click on that line, nothing happens. Impossible to switch to Gboard, which is installed.

Note that I am on the French version.
