Samsung Note 10 Lite Battery Drain

Hello,

I upgraded from a S8Plus to a Note10Lite, and have noticed that the battery drain is very high.

Even on standby it consumes 1% per hour, and I have turned most things off.

When I go into the Settings/Apps and check each App for battery drain, the following show the highets -

Find My Mobile - 20% used since last Charge

Voice Wake Up - 20% used since last Charge

I've already turned both off.

Appreciate any ideas.

After you've been using your phone for a day can you screenshot the battery stats and post them here @Amo2 

If the phone is relatively new then the phone will still be learning your usage pattern and optimising.

A battery would be at its optimum output until it's been charged and discharged a few times.

Can I ask what is the difference between the battery usage figures under each app as apposed to the battery usage figures under the device care?

i.e.

1. device care/battery/battery usage.

2. settings/apps/voice wake-up/battery.

Hey @Amo2 

The Device Care option gives active and background usage.

The other is from since last fully charged.

Personally I tend to take more notice of the stats under device care.

But the device care shows usage since last charge too, but its not showing items such as Voice Wake-Up which under the App shows over 20% usage since last charge?

Hi @Amo2 

From my initial look at your stats...

Your network signal is low which will cause the phone to work harder to maintain connection.

The App WhatsApp is a known resource hog. On my phone I close it down when not in use or add it to the sleeping apps section under device care.

I can see you use your camera quite extensively going from the battery usage along with the AR Emoji which are all using quite a chunk of your battery.

What I am asking is why is Voice Wakeup and Find my mobile showing high usage but are not showing at all on device care?

Perhaps Give your Samsung Support Department a call to ask.

Hi, I chatted with them they said Batt usage for these apps was fine -

Because they are not apps they are features of the android software find my mobile will always stay switched on as long as you have a Samsung account added to the device
