One UI 2.1 issue

Hi all I have the one UI 2.1 and now have 2 issues.

1st my battery seems to drain really quickly and Im talking not even lasting half a day! No new apps just the update

2nd ive now got these two chevrons at the bottom centre of my screen plz see pic but i havent applied them and now are in the way of certain tabs?

Any help would be much appreciated Thanks

Figured it out myself, the problem was "NotiStar" in the Goodlock app even though I hadn't used this part of the app so I un Installed this part and now the x2 chevrons have also gone.

For battery fix go to recovery mode and wipe the cache. Also there are some settings for battery saving (like turning off auto-sync, turning on medium power saving mode, putting all apps to sleep mode to prevent them running in background which can greatly drain your battery and not using too much brightness). That's what we have since Samsung doesn't bother to improve battery life and fixing drain issues.
