So the weather app is so ugly I can't even use it.

And where is my wallpaper in the apps drawer? Is Samsung trying to compete with Microsoft to see who can degrade use experience faster?

Try Nova Launcher instead. That can also provide weather forecasts if you grant it location access or specify a town.
