I am traveling internationally a lot and when I am over there, in Europe predominately, I never can connect to the wifi; whether its in the airport, a store or hotel.  I will connect but it says no internet.  Right now my network settings is on Global.  I am at a loss why I am not able to connect to the internet.  I am using straighttalk, verizon network.  Any assistance would be appreciated.  I am leaving again for Europe on Friday, 25FEB, and would like to figure something out.

I'd confirm that your provider has an arrangement with the country your travelling too, as well as having roaming on your contract and showing active on your providers system.
Set the phone to WiFi
You may need to locally register and log in with payment

For what it's worth, I had a international roaming set on mine (provider UK EE) that worked for me in the US and Australia without any problems.

No matter what tariff your on with your Home Network your Wi-Fi should connect @confusedinIowa

Try turning Off Mobile Data and then see if Wi-Fi connects.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

I use a Note 20 Ultra and travel extensively in the EU. I do not have any issues with either WiFi or Roaming. It must be something to do with specific settings. Network providers usually cannot control WiFi aspects of the device. Try going through settings once again; it may be an inadvertent check mark. Worst case scenario - try factory reset.
