Chat instead of text messaging

Can anyone help? I've noticed that some of my text messages are being sent as chat and therefore are only delivered if the other person has data. The settings seem to have changed since sending an image via text message. How do I change the messages back to regular green texts instead of blue chat??

Does it consume data if the chat/message bubble is blue? Or does it consume your network provider's SMS allowance? Thanks

When texting a message, It used to say "enter chat message" it now says "enter message", and all my messages are green, where they used to be blue, with a delivery and read reports showing 3 days ago it all went green, I've not touched my settings at all. What's happening here?

My Rich Communication Settings does not come up, infact it is no-where to be found on my phone, I am thinking maybe it does not exist on the Samsung S20 Note Ultra?

Where did you find it as it does not appear on my phone. Maybe you looked somewhere else?
