Hey all,
I'm having an odd issue - I'm trying to sign my child's account into an old phone, but every time i try to sign in, i get an error: "Processing Failed"
If I enter a deliberately bad password, I get a different error, suggesting invalid credentials.
If I login with my own account, I can sign in with no issue.
I've cleared the cache in the Samsung Account app, but the problem persists.
I've tried linking and signing in with gmail, but that errors out, too.
I've tried using a QR code, but that throws the same error.
I'm thinking it's a parental control issue, but I can't figure it out - any ideas?
Thank in advance!!

Hi @UzerZero 👋
On the phone it might be worth trying the following.
1. Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }
2. Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset All Settings
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask 😎
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I tried the three steps from that link:
Cleared phone cache
Cleared app cache
Cleared cache partition
But no joy, I'm still getting "Processing Failed" when I try to sign my child's account into the phone.
To restate: I can sign in with my own account without issue but I cannot sign in with my child's account.
I suppose the child account has some sort of parental controls applied? (that's how it works with a Google account, maybe there's parity with a Samsung account, too?)
