why i can't download one ui 5

as my question says, i cant download the new version one ui 5, android 13. my current version is 4.1 android 12. this phone is only 2 years old and i don't understand why i can't have it, i even asked a friend that has the exact phone as mine and they have the new update (one ui 5, android 13). Is there a possible way to fix this?

What A series do you own? Could be that your network has yet to push the update out. If your phone is unlocked to any network. You could try connecting to a PC. Use smartswitch to see if the update is available to download.

so, i tried to download that app, smartswitch, but it says that this phone is not compatible with this app. now how can i try? :')

Have you tried both galaxy store and playstore. I honestly don't know what else to suggest, if your phone is not compatible with smartswitch.
