Hey, is there a way to extend the number of rings before voicemail kicks in on a samsung A55?

Voicemail is handled by your mobile provider. Your phone itself doesn't decide. You'd need to ask your provider if they can change it

You could try the following code 61*321**00#  and replace with the number of seconds you want the phone to ring before diverting to Voicemail.  For instance if 30 seconds 61*321**30# .  If this works you should receive confirmation it has been successful.

However this can vary by provider and you may need to contact them to sort it out.
