Voicemail notification won't go away even after clearing cache

Hello everyone, has anyone had a similar problem - i keep getting a notification that I have a new voicemail. I don't - no new voicemail messages in ages. 

I have cleared my Phone app data and cache and has made no change at all. 

Keep getting the notification. 

Any suggestions what to do please?

Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK and EU Community Customer to Customer Forum

Voicemail is a network function. Once you receive a voicemail, you need to listen to it before he icon will stop showing.

I find with my network that I listen to it but the network still has it as unread ( I dial into voicemail again and it still says I have one new message). If this happens, listen to it again.

Icon should then disappear.

Thank you, however I have no messages saved to listen to again, I'm afraid. There are no messages on in my voicemail 😳

This may sounds silly but as you've said you've already;
Go to Settings > Apps > Show System Apps > Phone Services > Clear Data.

So, may be a long shot but;
trying to call your number from another phone to leave a voicemail and then delete it

Typically listening and or deleting the actual voicemail helps.
