Updating firmware A52s, using SmartSwitch

I have tried to update the firmware of a Galaxy A52S using SmartSwitch (SS), but it seems it goes nowhere. SS detects the phone, and says that there is a firmware available, but after clicking the update button, it show the usual messages and after clicking continue, SS does not show any sign of live. It simply does not do anything.

Have any of you tried SS to update the firmware of the phone?

Use a Samsung-certified USB cable, if possible. Try another USB port, preferably a direct one (not via a hub).

I had done that, but it wasn't having it. I updated it via data.
