That's not happening after the August update on my N10+ 5G or N20 Ultra @DottyS
As a process of elimination can you try your sim card in another phone and another sim card in your phone ?
Also try clearing the system files cache of the phone by turning it Off and then from a set series of button presses go into the phone's system files and clear the cache. No info is lost this way.
If no help then back up and remove any relevant Sd card and factory reset as a last resort.
