Update to Android 12 and phone is now lagging

Updated recently to Android version 12 and my A51 is now lagging and most apps are unresponsive. Any way to revert back to previous android version?

Have you tried to clear the cache? It might solve your problem.

After every update, we'd advise you to make sure everything is up to date. 

Follow these steps:

- Settings > Software Update > Update Now.

- Play Store > Initial top right > Manage apps and device > Update All.

- Galaxy Store > Menu (bottom right) > Updates > Update All.

i try not to update all apps, easier for things to break

Check the "Clear the cache partition" section.

By not updating apps that are now compatible with Android 12 is more likely to cause issues and is probably why your phone isn't working properly.

there is no way Android 12 is optimised for every app available in the play store or galaxy store. Will have to fornat phone as the updates did not help.
