I just switched from my s10e to a A54 (last one with an SD card). My phone updates almost daily with security updates. I push one through (update #22) and the next day there is update (#23). I understand the need for security updates but something is wrong - either with your platform or I'm getting punk'd. These screenshot are from this week alone.

Woah, why do your updates look so different from every other samsung phone. Are you sure your updating it from the right place 🤔

Where did you buy your device from?

What were you trying to update at the time? Was this a Security Update?

I wasn't trying to update anything. These pop up randomly and I dismiss them and eventually the update goes through anyway. I bought the phone used on eBay....so sounds bad already

I'm not convinced your device is a genuine Samsung.

At the very least I would perform a full factory Data Reset and see if you device starts to behave properly.

Alternatively, open a case with eBay to get your money back

It looks like you've been sold a fake. Those aren't Samsung updates. Samsung updates aren't numbered like that and they look completely different.

If you've set up any banking on the device or used your cards to make payments online via your phone - call your bank IMMEDIATELY. Use a different device to change your banking passwords, your bank will probably send out new cards.

Change all your passwords asap.
