I have had 3 Samsung A53's install updates in the last 5 days and after the updates all 3 touch screens on the phones have then not worked at all!!! Cannot turn the phone on or off, cannot go to settings, nothing at all. How does this happen and how can it be fixed? So far, not impressed with Samsung for allowing their own updates to ruin their phones. Surely I don't have to wait until their next update to sort the problem? So far, no-one can help fix this!

Same thing happened to me, first my screen broke, I thought it was the update, I repaired the screen, then my phone would not work on my network. I went to a library to download latest updates and now no touch screen actions work at all.
Has samsung reached out at all regarding this?

I had success with @andrzejgil 's suggestion of using odin and samfw to downgrade the OS to the previous version, though I can't update the phone anymore or the problem will come back. Also, as @Dan_e_boy mentioned, the bootloader can't be rolled back to a lower version. Mine was still on version 7 which is why I could do it, but that may not be the case for everyone. There are YouTube videos of the whole process online though, it was pretty straightforward for my device.

Looking at a Samsung firmware website, I see that the very first update to One UI 6.0 still has build number 7 on it. If I had suspected that the update was the issue at that time, I could have followed an online tutorial to downgrade back to the previous version One UI 5.1.1. Since I didn't know that, I proceeded to update to the latest version hoping that it would fix the issue and that's what screwed me because the build number is now 8 and I can't go back now. I haven't actually tried to downgrade myself yet, just what I've been seeing on the internet that it is not possible.

With a mouse I entered the code *#2663# on the dial app, it show me the TSP FW (Touch Screen Panel Firmware).
I have version : NA !!!!!
Update UI6 cleared it 😞
You can click on TSP FW update (General) but for me, it's always NA 😞

Just tried that and the same thing. TSP version NA. Maybe that means North America???? Because "Developer Only: N/A" would certainly mean not applicable due to the slash /. Sensor hub firmware version is also "N" but that may mean version N like A,B,C....M,N. I don't know what any of these versions were before since I didn't need to look this stuff up until I got the update that disabled my screen. Same thing happens when I try to update, it shows NA. Since it doesn't say failed, I assume it means North America. When I try to update the sensor version it actually says failed. I am no closer to find a solution yet, but I will post any success I have.

Through much research, I have figured out that if the TSP firmware was recognized, you would see some type of version number or code. Looks like OneUI6 doesn't recognize the TSP firmware version of aftermarket screens. Since the return window for my screen is closing, I will see if I can return it and cut my losses. Hope someone is able to figure this out. I will share more details on what I tried in my main post. Good luck.
