Hi, I've got an A14 and I've been able to transfer photos from it to my PC until today. Now, when I connect it to the computer using the USB it starts charging instead of showing me the photos to transfer as before. Can anyone help please?

Hi there 👋, try turn off autoblocker in settings> security and privacy > auto blocker toggle that off if your phone running on one ui 6.1 you should have this option and see if that helps

Hello again and thanks for the response. I have got One UI 6.1, but there's no sign of Autoblocker in my settings, security and privacy. I have checked it over and over but it's nowhere to be found???

What phone are you using if I don't mind asking?1731793042199_1731793042194_0.jpg

It's a Galaxy A14 but the 4G not the 5G...Amazon were doing a £45 quid off so I ordered it. It seems to be identical to the 5G but some features are in different places.

Your settings and privacy screen photo is completely different to mine.

Have you tried to use smart switch on PC to transfer photos? If no try it also it could be due to damaged cable, try to use different one if you have one by any chance, also you can use Bluetooth to transfer photos between your phone and your PC

Sorry for late response. Been trying everything to stop the A14 charging with no luck. I'm not getting that small popup when connecting that gives you the option to click for files. Re Bluetooth, I don't seem to have a turn on/off button in my Windows 10. Unsure about using Smart Switch, not keen. I wiped the cache a few days ago, using the wire from phone to PC, wondering if that changed something. All I know is that it didn't start charging before, but allowed me to transfer...and I'm using the cable that came with the phone. I'll leave it now thanks pal, taking up too much of my time, thanks for your help.
